I don't know what's wrong with me. I've told myself over and over and over....NO MORE CEREAL! But how do you pass it up when it's free? Plus even though I'm running out of space my kids are still eating. They love cereal.
A few months ago I was reading how people in other parts of the US were going to WalMart and getting Malt O Meal Cereal for free. There are $1.00 bags and $1.00 Qs. Well - I wanted some too!! I've been holding onto my coupons just waiting for Wal Mart to get them. Low and behold ~ I went today and there they were. Big boxes just sitting right in the middle of Action Alley. Happy Dance~~!!
I also got some boxes of cereal that my kids have been begging for. WalMart was clearancing them out and I had Qs so today I got free/cheap cereal and I got to be the best mom in the whole world ~ lol!
So here's the low down on what I got today. I'm actually pretty impressed. I bought all of this for just under $22.00. Not bad since the total before savings was over $60.00. Oh, just noticed but there are 4 bags of Green Giant frozen veggie/pasta mix missing from the pic. Sorry!
6 Bags of Malt O Meal @ 1.00 each - minus (6) 1.00/1 Coupons
8 boxes of Malt O Meal @ .50 each - minus (1) 1.00/1 Qs
7 Farmland bacon @ 1.50 each - minus (7) 2.00/1 Qs
7 Farmland Ham @ 2.98 each - minus (7) 2.00/1 Qs
3 Macaroni Grill Dinners @ 2.78 each - minus (3) 1.00/1 Qs
2 Snuggle @ 1.87 each - minus (2) 1.00/1 Qs
2 Kotex @ 1.00 each - minus (2) 1.00/1 Qs
2 General Mills Cereal @ 1.00 each - minus 1.00/2 Q
4 Green Giant Pasta Mixes @ .99 each - minus (4) .25/1 Qs
So where did I get the Q's from right? ~ the bacon and ham Qs come from another region. I traded for them. Same for the Snuggle.

OMG that is awesome! I wish I can go full time with my couponing now by trading/buying q's but it's just me and my husband at home so we really don't need that much food plus we are in a tight budget but hmm, if free, why not???
Where are you finding the FARMLAND bacon at Walmart- I've looked everywhere and I cant find them. I have serveral Q's to use on them

I felt the same way about cereal, but I still get it. I find that if I can get it for free, I just take it and give it a way.
I have a friend who comes for dinner every Tuesday, and I send him home with a goody bag.
I think we need to start a cereal-buyers anonymous or something LOL.. I do the same thing... but I love cereal and it so hard NOT to! I do tend to share with friends and family sometimes if I have too much!
