The boys just HAD to be in on this one!
Ok - so I made a run to Albie's because I had heard that you could get a 4.00 Catalina when you bought 3 Planters Products. You know me - I had to go try it out. I pulled all my Free Kraft cheese Qs (I bought these on EBay), my salad Qs and my Planter's Qs out and headed over there.
The cashier kept asking the manager - "are you sure she can use all of these? It doesn't seem right. She's going to get it almost free"hahaha!! That's the whole idea!! After she finished my orders she asked if I taught people how to do this! :)
I bought everything for $14.07 - yeah!
I needed the Jello anyway since we're making Strawberry jello Fig Preserves this weekend. I would have spent 14.00 on just the Jello - this way I came out way ahead! Check back next week for my post about our preserve making.

My cheese coupons should be in today or tomorrow's mail. Cheese, peanuts and Kool-Aid. Yippee!
P.S. I may donate my Kool-Aid to your garage sale - my kids certainly don't need all the added sugar.

Saw your pic of Evangeline Maid Bread and it got me craving some. I'm originally from Carencro but we moved to Birmingham a little over a year ago. They don't make anything like EM Bread here:-(
I had to laugh when I read the cashier's comments. I bought 6 packs of Kotex Sat. for 42 cents and the cashier kept complaining, "Well, why don't I just give it to you? My manager is going to complain about this. I bet this purchase will mess up my register." : )

I went to Albie's tonight. did the planters deal. nothing. cashier said try it again. did a second deal. NOTHING!! i'm so frustrated.
Albie's wouldn't give any cats for the two deals because i had no proof they should print.
did i do something wrong? i bought 3 items plus the planters. used the planters coupon.

Can you explain to me what a "Catalina" is?
I went there tonight, and got 2 orders with the nuts & 3 kraft or nabisco products.
My first order did not print out any coupons.
My 2nd order printed out a $5 "thank you" coupon from Planters.
I dont know what I did wrong...or, if I didnt do anything wrong, and should call customer service.
