Every two weeks I head to the store and do my major shopping. I always make my menu first and then my list. I like to attach my flyers and my Qs to my list (makes it easier).
This week I did good, but spent more than I have in the last few months. I'm still under budget so I'm good :) My total OOP was just at $75.00 for two weeks of groceries. This includes some items for my stockpile. I also bought some ground chuck that was clearance (this is fine to do as long as you use it or freeze it within 24 hours.) I still have $50.00 put away to work the deals and buy any fruit and veggies I'll need.
Here's what I bought:
It's quite alot so I won't be listing everything individually. However ~ I will tell you what Qs I used.
I used 19 of the Kraft Free WYB Qs. The last of my stash there. Good thing because they expire at the end of the month.
I used (2) 2.00 South Beach Pizza, BOGO Grill mates, 1.00/2 Hunt's Ketchup, (2) 1.10/1 Macaroni Grill Product, (2) 1.00/2 Old El Paso, BOGO Special K and 2.00/2 Fresh Express Salads.
Most of these Qs are ones I've gotten of coupon trains so I can't tell you where they are from. Sorry ya'll!! If you haven't joined a train you should defiantly consider it!

I have questions about the kraft deals & albertson's. In a previous post you said some of the albertsons sale items aren't really sales...I don't get a sales ad for albie's so would you mind filling me in. I'm going shopping today. I have 2 of each Q except the chz..I used. Awesome shopping , btw...I wish I could do that. I'm always over my budget. 75 for 2 weeks...wow. I usually go over my 200 & then end up spending more by the next check.ugh. I can't wait till Sep.
Wow Carlie, as always you did great. I love those kraft WYB 3 coupons. I used 6 of them yesterday when I went shopping.
where can i get the IP coupons for the south beach drinks that were on sale at albertsons i have some rain checks.. I knew there was a place to print them..
Amanda - I siad that some of the Albie's sales weren't really sales, because I know what they normally cost. IE: If I can normally buy Honey Bunches of Oats for 2.00 a box at Wal mart, then when Albie's puts it on sale at 5/10 it's really not a sale IMO.

I cannot wait to take your class! $75 for 2 weeks?? My gosh Carlie, we spent around $175 for that. I seriously need to learn how to do what you do!

So when you go "big shopping" do you usually do it at WalMart as I think you did this time, or find out who has the best deals for the week, and switch it up?

My WYB doesn't expire till Sep. 30. I bought two more magazines for next month. "Crap" the fresh express does & I forgot to save there. I lost my kid in WM.
I think I may never go shopping again.

LoL, Nah, I'm not worried *at least not THAT worried ;)* I have always budgeted around $300/mo. I have lots in my stockpile so I decided to try and 'buy from the pantry' this month. It seems to be working! The only things I need to get this weekend are milk, fruits, & veggies. Oh and of course Sundays paper!
