I didn't need much this week so I ran to Wal Mart to pick up a few things (and get my paper!!) I also picked up some sales at Target and a few things needed for my oldest son's Birthday party. Ice cream Cake!!
I spent right about 40.00 on groceries for the week and his party. That's including two All You Magazines and a newspaper! Plus I got lots of things to share :)
**NOTE**WYB stand for When You Buy. Some of the Qs I used state Buy 3 Kraft items and get 1 specific item for free (excluding single serve) So I bought Kool Aid drink mixes because they aren't single serve and they are cheap. Get the latest All You magazine from Wal mart and turn to page 159 if you'd like some great Kraft WYB Qs too!
My Target run was fun. The cashier was telling me how she loves it when people come with coupons :) Glad she felt this way since I had almost 40! I spent 7.80 OP
20 Jellies @ 1.52 each - minus (20) 1.00 target Qs and (10) 1.00/2 manuf Qs
2 Smuckers Chocolate Topping @ 1.82 each - minus 1.25/2 Peelie (found at Target)
3 packs of Jello @ .70 each
1 pack of Cool Whip @ 1.47 - minus Free WYB (that's why I bought the pudding)
2 Electrasol @ 2.79 each - minus (2) 2.25/1
Wal Mart turned out well. I price matched lots of items and only spent 30.00.
2 All You @ 1.79 each
1 Newspaper @ .99
2 Fresh Express Shreds @ 1.52 each - minus 2.00/2 manuf Q
30 Kool Aids @ 11 each (PM to Super One)
8 OM Hot Dogs @ 2.48 each - minus 8 FREE WYB
2 Wheat Thins @ 2.5 each - minus 2 FREE WYB
1 8oz cheese @ 2.08
1 pack of white beans @ 1.08
1 loaf of bread @ 1.08
5lbs of chicken @ 7.50 total (PM to Adrien's - local store)
Various fruits and veggies - 12.00
Not to bad - total saved this week with Qs and PM came out to be around 75.00!
And ~ for those of you wondering. I made a little over $300.00 on our garage sale. I went yesterday and paid on our bill. It's now down to $500.00 with only 4 weeks to go. We're going to make it and we might even pay it off in the next two weeks!! Yeah!

6 Chat about it:
I used the free kraft cheese coupons today and have three packages so can I freeze those packages. Im thinking that I want to get more but well never use that much unless I can freeze it. I really like your blog -its fast and to the point. Thanks Denise
Congrats on your sale. Thanks, Last month was my 1st time buying All
You. I def. will get one. Nice shopping.
Congrats on your sale. I need to get around to priceing up some of my own stuff and haveing a sale of my own.
I was wondering about freezing the cheese as well. Is this possible?
Thanks!
Thanks Denise :)
As for the cheese - yes you can freeze it, but it will crumble when you take it out. Which is not bad if you're mixing it in with say broccoli or a casserole. The expiration date on sliced cheese is pretty for out. I think it's December on the ones I just bought. I'm pretty sure we'll use our all up before then ~ lol!
Be sure to reach for the family size box of Wheat Thins when using your WYBs- pay attention to the size and/or maximum redeemable value of the Q. This WYB states up to $4.50. Get more for free! I used this WYB and it worked on the family size at Walmart.
